A few words about us

Joe Eckardt

Joe has spent almost 20 years successfully navigating the challenging waters of the movie industry. Over this time he honed his craft by learning from some of the best in the business. The list of Hollywood elite that he has worked with over the years reads like a who’s who of Hollywood, they include, but not limited to Oscar winners Nicolas Cage & Cuba Gooding Jr., Jennifer Garner, Jessica Alba, Dennis Hopper, Val Kilmer, Director Robert Rodriquez and Hollywood heavyweight Producer and Emmy winner Jerry Bruckheimer.

He first co-created Los Angeles based The Film Emporium: A Motion Picture Company. It was here that he completed the award winning critically acclaimed documentary Champion and screwball stoner comedy High Hopes.

Then in 2008 he set his sights on newly created Rock On! Films, Inc. It is here that he has been busy developing a full slate of films, which includes the currently live Indiegogo campaign for I Ride Alone.

In 2010-11 Joe & Rock On! Films took another huge leap forward when Joe directed and produced the family super hero film Pizza Man - starring Frankie Muniz, Shelly Long, Corbin Bernsen, Diamond Dallas Page, Michael Gross, Stan Lee and others. With a budget of $3 million dollars, Pizza Man exemplifies Rock On! Films' commitment to growth and success.

During the summer of 2013 he completed filming of the romantic comedy Other Plans, which stars Jamie Kennedy, Rebecca Blumhagen, Malik Yoba, Joseph Gannscoli & Rowdy Roddy Piper.

Jorge Eckardt

The Rock On! Films team is rounded out by Producer & Screenwriter Jorge Eckardt. Jorge has over 20 years of experience in sales & marketing and has been an integral component for the growth of various media departments throughout his career.

However, it is his development of compelling original content that makes this pairing particularly exciting. It is their complimentary skill sets that make this brother team one of the more promising film making duos currently on the scene.

At a time when major motion picture studios continue to repackage the same content with prequels and sequels and television networks are remaking programs that were mediocre the first time around, this is a unique opportunity to invest with a company that has a vision for original storytelling.
